Beautiful Nkawkaw Mountains 

Hey family and friends,

Another fast and busy week. It was nowhere as hectic and crazy as last week, however. 

The big highlight and the miracle of the week are that we had 2 investigators show up for church yesterday!! That is a new Nkawkaw high for me so far. All three of my previous weeks we had no one. So, two is pretty amazing. One has some serious promise. Mary is a long-time investigator that has been meeting with missionaries for like five months and now she has finally come to church for the first time. The gospel seeds were definitely planted and nurtured by each incoming missionary and now it has finally sprouted and taken root. Her name is Mary and she even told us after church that she wants to be baptized for sure. Before this she only told us that she wanted to be baptized this year and whenever we gave her a for sure date, she wouldn't accept it. But we finally were able to give her one and now we will do all that we can to help her progress towards baptism and reach her goal! The gospel is amazing!! It truly touches and changes hearts and people so much!

The other investigator I didn't have any hope in him coming to church. Not even 1%. We met him at one of the member's stores. He is being trained in the work (apprentice) and we talked to him small and invited him to church. His name is Justice and he said he would come. EVERYONE... when I say everyone I mean everyone.... says that they will come to church here in Ghana even if they have no intentions to or know they are busy at that time. So, when he told us he would come I didn't even think twice about it. All I can say is that seeing him walk in the doors with the member Sunday morning was seriously an unexpected surprise!! It was seriously a miracle. Afterward, he said he loved it a lot and would love to meet with us and discuss the church. That was a total blessing. 

We are making progress in the area a little at a time. We have really relied on the Lord as well as the spirit. I have felt like we have been guided and directed every day. And gradually we are seeing the effects and blessings of it. The Lord is always there and knows what we are going through every minute of our lives and will bless us when the timing is perfect.
